The honor system
My mom totally went crazy over the fields of flowers. It was a constant hunt looking for fields of flowers. Obiviously, my mom is obsessed with flowers. There is Lily and Daisy what else can she name a flower?? We had many photo sessions with me posing in flowers. Okay, that's enough now.
In Switzerland they have fields of flowers where you can go and cut fresh flowers. It's based off of the honor system. You just cut and leave your money. The swiss do a lot of things on the honor system. They also have farms where you can go get your fresh milk and eggs and leave your money. How trusting. That would never work in America.

Disentis, Switzerland

We are headed for a 4 day trip to Disentis, Switzerland. It's located in the Swiss Alps. My Nomie rented a apartment for us to stay in. We are going to spend our time hiking the alps! We are so excited. We'll post pictures when we get home.

First time in Austria

Me and my Dad's first time in Austria. He forgot the memory card for the camera so needless to say, there are no pictures. My Mom wasn't very happy. "Ugh" she said! There were so many great photo opportunities.
This is Lake Constance, Central Europe's 3rd largest lake. Surrounding the lake is 3 countries, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

Waldshut, Germany
Waldshut,
Germany is a small town that runs along the Rhine river. It lies on the border of Germany and Switzlerland. We came here for the famous German brats. There were a ton of different kinds of brats. My Dad ended up ordering a horse brat. Gross! He had no idea, and we won't tell Jenn.
Day at the Zoo
We rode the train to the Basel zoo outside of Zurich. It was a 45min train ride and then we walked to to zoo outside of the city of Basel. It's great because we are able to ride the train everywhere. I get to hang out while we are riding instead of being stuck in a car seat. The trains here are great, nice and clean.
The zoo was a lot of fun!

Dad finally arives in Switzerland
I was so happy to see my dad after a week without him.
We were so happy we arrived 45 min late. He arrived early after his long journey. He was eager to get his hands on me.

6 months and adorable!
Since I have been in Switzerland my Mom has been giving me fresh bread every morning. The bakeries here make the best fresh bread. It's not the typical soft airy bread, it's got nice cruchy edges that help with my teething pain. My 3rd tooth is coming in. I'm a total carb fan! Yummy.

Girls day in the city
We spent the day shopping in the city. It was a great girls day out.
It's so easy to take the train into the city and jumping on the trams.
The city of Zurich, Switzlerland
Zurich is one of the most beautiful cities my Mom has ever seen. She comes a lot to see her sister and neices. My mom has been to Europe about 15 times and this is my Dad's 2nd time. I'm just happy to be getting so many stamps in my passport at such a young age. My Mom believes that traveling with me now will get me used to being on the go and seeing new places. I'm a trooper so far. I'm doing so good hopping on the trains and trams. We will be off to Germany and Austria in the next few days.

17 hours of travel and still full of grins and giggles!
Me and my Mom headed out to get my passport stamped. We are headed to Switzlerand for an entire month. We are going to see my Nomie (thats my aunte and her 3 girls). We had a long day ahead of us traveling all the way across the ocean. My Dad was sad to see us go but he will be coming next week. We left our house at 6am and landed in Switzerland at 8am (thats about 17 hours of travel, I know my Mom is so brave).
Our first flight was about 4 hours to D.C. We managed to get a free seat next to us and I flirted with the lady behind us the entire flight. It was so exciting that I didn't want to nap. We finally got to D.C. and everyone that sat next to us paid my Mom lots of compliments for me being so good. I thought phew we're done with this travel thing. Just to find out we were headed for another plane. We loaded up on a huge plane and got so lucky again with an entire row free. We spread out and got ready for another long flight (this one was 9 hours long). Mom says that the way there is always easier because you are so excited to get there.
My Mom nursed me during take off and it was supposed to help with the pressure in my ears. It must have because I was a happy camper. It entertained myself with these cool buttons on the handle of the seat. And this nice lady gave me all kind of cool things to play with like cups and pretzel wrappers. There was a nice old lady that would hold me everytime my Mom had to use the restroom. I giggled almost the entire flight and only took a 2 hour nap. My Mom said I was such a big girl. She was so proud of me for being such a good traveler.
This is just the beginning! I must be a traveler at heart.

Thanks for checking in!
Hey, thanks for checking in. I'm glad someone is interested in my life. I've heard it goes fast. My papaw used to say "life with pass you by, in the blink of an eye." So, I hope you enjoy me while you can. Before you know it I will be all grown up. First it's rolling over, eating real food, sitting up, going potty all by my self (I sound like a puppy), then before you know it I'll be a teenager.
So, I leave for Europe in a few days. Yep, I'm going to be a world traveler. I'm starting young, I know! I'll keep in touch while I'm gone. Miss you all! XOXO!

Snuggles with Daddy
My Daddy loves nap time with me.
A girl can't get much rest with all that snoring.
NOT!
Can you believe the nerve of my Mom?
I can't believe she would put me in this shirt.
She got the shirt from her friend Emma, from Ireland.
Mummy dearest!

What's up!
I have been so busy lately. Scooting, sitting up, eating, crawling backwards are a few of my accomplishments. The other day was so funny. My mom was doing laundry (she says it will be the death of her). She thinks that she is great at multi-tasking. She puts me down in the living room, when she gets back I have made my way to my Dad's PlayStation controls. Yes, I was able to scoot all the way across the room. She doesn't know it but when she goes to the gym Dad lets me play with the controls. She would have a fit if she knew what me and Dad do when she's gone. I love play station 3!
I promise mom, it won't fry my brain.
