Before I got to bed....

It's gotta be a mom thing.  Before I go to bed, I walk across the hallway and open P&P's doors.  I love standing at the edge of the crib/toddler bed.  I stand there until my eyes adjust to see their little belly's fill up with air.  I have kids that are fairly light sleepers, so I can't touch them without them rolling around and sometimes opening their eyes so, I just stand and wait to hear that deep breath in and out.  The sound of them sleeping is the most comforting sound and feeling.  Can't really explain it but it feels good!

My Dad used to say....

"If you don't have any expectations, you will never be disappointed".

"If someone talks to you about someone.....I guarantee they are taking about you to someone else".
