Waldshut, Germany

Waldshut,
Germany is a small town that runs along the Rhine river. It lies on the border of Germany and Switzlerland. We came here for the famous German brats. There were a ton of different kinds of brats. My Dad ended up ordering a horse brat. Gross! He had no idea, and we won't tell Jenn.

The Rhine River

The Rhine river is the most important river in Europe. It's 820 miles long and discharges 2,000 cubic meters per second.

It's the coolest waterfall I have ever seen. Actually, the only waterfall I have ever seen.

Day at the Zoo

I loved looking at all of the animals!

We rode the train to the Basel zoo outside of Zurich. It was a 45min train ride and then we walked to to zoo outside of the city of Basel. It's great because we are able to ride the train everywhere. I get to hang out while we are riding instead of being stuck in a car seat. The trains here are great, nice and clean.

First time swimming

First time swimming and I'm a natural fish. I loved playing in the water! We went to the coolest pool. It was huge and they had a nice play area for me.

Dad finally arives in Switzerland

I was so happy to see my dad after a week without him.
We were so happy we arrived 45 min late. He arrived early after his long journey. He was eager to get his hands on me.

6 months and adorable!

Since I have been in Switzerland my Mom has been giving me fresh bread every morning. The bakeries here make the best fresh bread. It's not the typical soft airy bread, it's got nice cruchy edges that help with my teething pain. My 3rd tooth is coming in. I'm a total carb fan! Yummy.

Girls day in the city

We spent the day shopping in the city. It was a great girls day out.

It's so easy to take the train into the city and jumping on the trams.

The city of Zurich, Switzlerland

Zurich is one of the most beautiful cities my Mom has ever seen. She comes a lot to see her sister and neices. My mom has been to Europe about 15 times and this is my Dad's 2nd time. I'm just happy to be getting so many stamps in my passport at such a young age. My Mom believes that traveling with me now will get me used to being on the go and seeing new places. I'm a trooper so far. I'm doing so good hopping on the trains and trams. We will be off to Germany and Austria in the next few days.

Swiss Parade in Zurich

Traditional Swiss (Guilders) Parade in the city of Zurich. The girls, Jenn 13, Alexandra 11 and Vanessa 8 walk in this parade every year. This is an annual parade to welcome spring.
